Re: Deciding on baby names and agreeing with dh
WE decided that if we both don't like the name it does not even get considered. We have both agreed on a girls name, but the Dr. thinks we are having a . We have gone back and forth on a bunch of different names and we can't decide on a boy's name. We are both so picky when it comes to names.

I have a great story on this.
When my sister got pregnant and started talking baby names, it of course got me and DH thinking about names. My sister and I both want to name our children after our dad. So my sister had a list of possible names and picked one when she saw her daughter. I told DH there was one name on the list I really loved and hoped she didn't pick the name (she didn't). DH didn't really like the name, but I kept using it and bringing it up as a possibility when we woudl talk about it.
I got pregnant a month after my sister had her daughter- and just found it I'm also having a girl. DH now tells me he really likes the name! I think that will be our little girl's name- but we are going to wait until she is born to pick out a name for her.
I think if you bring it up enough, and he starts to get used to it, he may begin to like it.
Exactly my point.

I got lucky because dh wanted to name the little boy if we were having one and he chose a beautiful name but since it is a girl I got to pick a name but he does love it, because it is the girl version of his name...

We ONLY have a boy's name picked out because my DH's brother passed away so there is no question about us naming a boy after him. We are unsure of girl's names but plan on coming up with a few and we'll try to narrow it down. But you may love one name and then change your mind at the very last minute.
