DS is in a toddler bed

so tonight is night 2 with my son in a toddler bed. He will be 2 next month. First night went great no issues at all, tonight I must have put him back in that bed 7 differnt times. I felt like crying every time I did it but I know I have to be strong and follow through. Finally after an hour of fighting he went to sleep. Chat Icon

Lets hope the rest of the week goes good!!

We are in the process of doing this now. DD screams no big girl room. Ithink she afraid of the place. We play in there all day but I can only get her in there if she falls asleep in her other room and I pick her up and put her in.. OH boy this is tough..

Re: DS is in a toddler bed

it was rough for two weeks. olivia is really big into princesses so we call it the princess room. i got her a princess comforter with princess dolls the size of her and try to make it fun. the first month she only wanted to play in there. waht i did was take the side of the crib off to adjust the mattress and olivia saw me take the side off and said i broke it. i kept it off and she realized she couldnt sleep in it. you could take the side off and put pillows under the mattress in case they fall out. after about 3 days of telling everyone she knows i broke the crib she slept in her bed and has been in it for 1 month now. most nights she sings in there for an hour, asks me to rub her back. but it gets better i promise.
