Sleeping issues! I need help!
Claire is a rock star sleeper! But James is another story! He won't sleep! It is driving me bonkers. I have tried the 5 s's, establishing a night time routine, but nothing works! It is like he is afraid to sleep, like he is going to miss something. He hardly naps during the day. I think he is just over tired and cannot seem to let himself just SLEEP! BTW, he is almost 5 months old and still feeds once a night!

Re: Sleeping issues! I need help!
It sounds exactly like my girls. Alanna always went down for a nap, but Bridget would fight it.
It got better when I separated them (2 different rooms) during nap time. I started this around 6 months.
Good Luck!

Re: Sleeping issues! I need help!
Some kids just aren't good nappers. I didn't think mine were but by 9 months when they were crawling and more active they became good nappers. I hope that is the case for James. Hang in there!

Re: Sleeping issues! I need help!
My boys are 5 months as well. I am noticing that they are not napping nearly as much as they used to. They also wake up once a night. I think they wake each other up since they are in the same room. The usually go to sleep between 7:30 & 8 wake up any where between 2& 4 and then again at 7:30. I asked my dr about this and she said it was fine as long as it was only once and they are sleeping so many hours.
I have tried the routine, the crying it out but nothing seems to work. I havent slept a full night in almost a year....I also find that the crying out must work better for singletons than twins because all I end up with is 2 crying babies.
