Huntington Hospital
Has anyone had any delivery experiences with Huntington Hospital?
My first two were delivered at NUMC with midwife Barbara Charles and the experiences couldn't have been better in any way. Everything was so professionally -- and still naturally -- run it was amazing! I loved having a natural birth AND a baby and daddy rooming in my private room (which I did not have to pay extra for) with double doors to the hallway. It was so quiet and peaceful and the nurses were wonderful.
However, Huntington Hospital is SO close to our house and Barbara Charles now works out of there too so I'm considering switching with her to that hospital for the upcoming birth.
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about HH. Everything from L&D to Maternity, it was excellent care.
I will be delivering there again in about 2 weeks

I delivered at Huntington last year, in March. I had a wonderful experience from the time I checked in for my induction right through the time I checked out.
It wasn't busy when I had Taylor, so I was in a semi private room, but never had a roommate. I had a problem with my room the last day (it was snowing when I delivered, but 4 days later, it was spring-like warm weather and I noticed some ants by my windowsill, they grabbed all my stuff and moved me to a private room at no charge.
I never had a problem having visitors at any time of the day.
The staff was amazing!

i delivered at huntington hospital 2 years ago and delivering again within the next month. we just went yesterday for a sibling class. the l&d staff is amazing. not crazy about maternity nurses when i was there but the nursery nurses were wonderful.

 My SIL is a L&D nurse there (actually pregnant herself as well as half the staff!) They are awesome, I went on a tour over Christmas with my sister (My SIL did the tour) as she is delivering there this spring as well.
They are such a warm family the nurses in L&D. and they very much care about you and take pride in their job.
