Yes at 27 weeks I was diagnosed with this and put in the hospital on strict bedrest. I couldn't have a cerclage b/c I was too far along. I stayed on bedrest until 37 weeks and gave birth the day I came off bedrest at 37 weeks. If you have any questions just ask!

I had a shortened cervix and was put on bed rest at 24 weeks. I took myself off bedrest at 35 weeks and went into labor at 36 weeks. DDs were born healthy and came home with us, no NICU time.

I had a shortened cervix and funnelling from early contractions at 29 weeks. I was put on strict bedrest ang gave birth at 38 weeks, 1 day....right after I was taken off of bedrest...so the bedrest obviously helped....

yes this happened to me starting at 27 weeks with this baby. My cervix got very thin.

I was on bed rest on and off and progesterone shots and I did not deliver early. I was 5 days before my due date, so in my 39th week.

Yes at 19 weeks I was diagnosed with this and put on strict bedrest. I couldn't have a cerclage b/c I was too far along. I stayed on bedrest until 37 weeks and had to be induced at 38 weeks because as result of NO activity/exercise I developed GD.

I also had to take weekly progestorone shots to prevent pre-term labor.

Oh yeah I also got progesterone shots every other day and two rounds of steroids to develop the babys lungs when I first was admitted

I had a short cervix at 29 weeks and was put on bedrest with my twins. They were born at 34.5 weeks but not for the cervix. One of the babies at IUGR.
