Ok let me start off by saying that I was due 6/6/07 but due to a fractured tail bone during pregnancy my doctor had planned a c-section for me on 5/23/07 and by the time May approached i was begging him to take the baby out i was so uncomfortable and the baby had no more room to grow. Well at 1:30 am on 5/16/07 my water decided to break i thought i was peeing the bed lol so i got up real qucik and ran to the bathroom and thats when i realized that it was my water i screamed for my husband to get me the phone so i can call my doctor. So we get to the hospital and my doctor wasnt due to come in until 8 am so they put me in a room and hooked me up to all the monitors and the iv and then finally it was 8 am and my doctor came in and asked me how my tailbone was feeling which at the time wasnt as bad so we decided to try a vaginal birth so he started some pitocin because i was only 2 cm so they gave me 2 shots of demerol because the pain was so bad i couldnt take it. it felt like a contraction every 20 seconds so after 12 hours i still have dialted any and my heart rate and the babys heart rate was dropping so he took me off the pitocin and then the babys heart rate went back up so we decided to do the c-section so it was about 2 hours later they wheeled me into the OR and gave me a spinal and morphine i was feeling great no pain Chat Icon and at 1:26 pm the baby was brought into this world and IT'S A BOY!!! I couldnt feel anything so i had no emotion at that time but when i was able to hold him for the first time i cried i was so happy he was finally here we waited a long time for him. And his name is William James III after daddy he was 5 lbs 7 oz and 18 1/2 inches long and the doctor said that was great for being 3 weeks early and he was healthy and both mom and baby went home together. And i recovered quickly after my c-section.
