Our Europe Trip

Here is the ROUGH itinerary from our travel agent:

fly to London...stay 3nts
Chunnel train to Paris......stay 3nts
Train to Germany.....2nts Munich.....2nts Berlin
Train to Amsterdam.....stay 3 nts

I asked her to change it to either:

fly to london....stay 3nts
Chunnel train to Paris......stay 3nts
Fly to Rome.....stay 3 nts
Miserable overnight train (haha) to Munich...stay 2nts
Train to Amsterdam....stay 2nts

BUT if we can't get to Germany before or on Oct. 5...we'll miss octoberfest and then I'd rather take out Germany and add Florence.

We know this is going to be an exhausting trip...we are prepared for that. Anyone done something like this and thinks I'm out of my mind?


Any suggestions?

You are not out of your mind. We have taken about 5 different Europe trips where we do 4 cities in 8 nights. It's our favorite way to travel.. we get so bored so quickly.

I would personally spend less time in London and more in Amsterdam. London bores me to tears, its kinda like Manhattan but with beautiful accents.

We are thinking about going to Oktoberfest this year too... I hope it happens!

You are not out of your mind! I just got back from Europe- we did 4 cities in 8 days- I had already been to Paris- so I didn't **need*** to see as much there- but overall it was a fantastic trip! Go for it!
