8 Low Stress Careers - Accounting?
Umm, accounting as #1 on the list? Meaning it is less stressful that a massage therapist which is #5??? I beg to differ. I love the way they make it sound like we wrap everything up in a neat little bow and file it away. Depending on what you do I feel that this career is HIGHLY STRESSFUL. 
Obviously I'm having a rough day.

My sister is an accountant, she works for the big 4. I know she would not say it was a low stress job. She worked over 70 hours a few weeks ago

that's where I started my career too...def. not low stress.

I think this entire list is BS. They make everything sound so rosy! Pre-School teacher not stressful? When you have 20 little people depending on you and asking your questions and in your face, its very stressful, their safety is in your hands.
And tech support is also stressful, I think any position where it's a customer service like that is very stressful. you would think my job is not stressful, but the customer service part is the most stressful thing. I have people screaming at me and disrespecting me fairly regularly and making unreasonable demands that I somehow have to live up to.
And if you're in design you have to please a client within a deadline..

Accounting is NOT low stress. If its year end or closing time they work lateeee hours weekends etc. I work with that group and there is alot of turnover in that dept.

I sent this to my DH and he was laughing. He is a CPA for one of the big four and he is working a 13 hour today and its not what we consider a busy time.
