So 4th Grade Teachers...
What are you doing this last week in Math to prepare for the...dum da dum dum...State Exam next week?

Going over the pre- March list just to see if I missed anything.
We will also finish the2006/2007 Part 3s...I still have some I have not done with them.
I kind of feel like at this point.... they know what they know. I do not want to stress them out.
(PS....Hi from the alleged guru..I haven't really been on much... Hope 4th grade is rockin.)

i dont' teach 4th, but 5th grade as a test too. i am doing a practice test or two, but that's about it. i feel like how i've mapped out the curriculum for the year has covered everything that will be on the test, so it is what it is. i don't stress about it.

the window is April 2- May 7. Performance and written both need to get done during that time.

i teach 3rd moe and all we have been doing is math. I am sick of it, they are sick of it. Weve gone over practice tests, have practice booklets. I cram in all last minute concept in this week. Poor kids!!!

We have been doign the coach book and practicing form old tests.
The kids are sick of it!!!
In extended day I started a Math game show with teams to o over vocabulary and their times tables. They seem to like it. I give out candy as prizes.
They forget everything so easily!!!!
