He believes that I have percaditis- which basically is a virus that attacks the soft tissue surrounding your heart. Many times the virus goes away on its own, sometimes meds are given, and in worst case scenarios the soft tissue is removed. Considering that Im still functioning, can walk, talk etc... he feels that I will fal into the "going away on its own" category.

I AM SO HAPPY THAT YOU GOT GOOD NEWS!!!!!!!! I was praying for you.
I had pericarditis like month after my heart surgery. It is very common, but it hurts like he!! and there were many times when I thought that I was having a heart attack. IT SUC KS!!!
BUT...
It does go away on its own. It took 2 months form mine to go away. Yoga and finding time to relax helped a lot as did going on Ecotrin aspirin (a heart aspirin). Ask your cardiologist about taking an aspirin a day, then you can go off of it once the pericarditis goes away.

I'm glad you're feeling better Marissa! I also hope you know who knows about this and doesn't add to your stress.
Yea- those adjustments I was talking about- were my childcare arrangements
