Alaskan excursions

This is DH and my first cruise in May and we are going to Alaska on NCL Pearl. Help us choose excursions, please!

Here are the options we have narrowed it down to:

Juneau

Glacier Sightseeing via Floatplane
Mendenhall Glacier By Helicopter & Guided Walk
Helicopter Glacier Walkabout
Dogsledding On Mendenhall Glacier Via Helicopter

Skagway
Dogsledding & Glacier Flightseeing Via Helicopter
Ultimate Yukon & White Pass Railway
White Pass Evening Summit

Ketchikan
Misty Fjords & Wilderness Explorer
Magnificent Misty Fjords Seaplane

Victoria
Craigdarroch Castle & Victoria Highlights

Any experiences or recommendations?? TIA!

I hear any of those Juneu excursions are great! I don't fly on small planes or helicopters so we didn't do any of those, we did a whale watch which was awesome.

Skagway - We heard the White Pass excursion on the train was great. My father and step-mother did that one and raved about it. If you want something different though, we did an excursion that was incredible. We did a hike to this river and lake where we got into canoes and canoed to the lake at the base of this huge glacier. Was beyond incredible!

I don't know anything about the other ports as we did entirely different excursions, and I was disappointed in our Victoria excursion due to the fault of Princess Cruise Line.

DH and I went to Alaska last June and LOVED it! We were on a Celebrity cruise, and I can suggest the excursions we took....

In Juneau: DEFINITELY take this tour:

"Dogsledding On Mendenhall Glacier Via Helicopter"

In Skagway:
We actually didn't take any excursions here, but I heard the railway was nice. It's long, though, and I've also heard while the scenery is beautiful, it's pretty much the same thing the whole way.....
But outside of the listed excursions, there's not much to do beside walk around town.

In Ketchikan: Oh my goodness, here's another MUST do. The seaplane is so much fun and the views are amazing. So definitely take:

"Magnificent Misty Fjords Seaplane"

Also, in Ketchikan, if you have the time, go see the Lumberjack show. It's worth the stop. : ) And walk around town -- there's a lot to see here.

Victoria is a ??? to me. Sorry, we didn't go there! I'm no help with this stop.
