Teaching ESL / tutoring
Since I am in the process of switching from HR to teaching, when I was in the Library the other day, I was looking at the volunteer opportunities. What I want to teach is early childhood, but I am looking for any type of teaching experience to build up my resume. In the library they have a program to teach ESL one on one with a person for 2 hours per week. Basically you read articles and books etc and you don't need any experience. Will this look good even though I ultimately want to work with kids?

Re: Teaching ESL / tutoring
Sure, it's teaching no? I teach adults ESL and that would be a great idea for someone just starting out. It's not a whole lot of people to teach especially because it's only a few students right? I think it's a good idea.
