yes, this is due to the price increase of wheat and flour..
Which you can blame mostly on politicians pushing Ethanol down everyones throats....
which you can blame on the ethanol lobby.
it's the same reason everything we eat is full of high fructose CORN syrup. Corn farmers get crazy benefits from the gov't even though corn products are not the best.

So far I have not had to pay more for my pizza but you never know. I have had to pay more for my morning bagel though. I was paying $1.85 for a bagel w/butter & a large coffee, last week it went to $1.90 and today it went to $2.

Ugh I hate that this was moved to food... it's more about prices/the economy!

My DH had his own Pizza place and it closed about 4-months ago because of this. It is insane how much the cost of things went up and there is only so much you can charge for a Pizza!
It's a shame because he would only use the best ingredients and refused to change his recipe's, so instead he closed.
