Toddler Sep. Anxiety- Crying all night
My 21-month old son is going through severe separation anxiety, esp. at night. The past 2 nights he screamed while my husband held him for 3 hours!! We let him cry 40 minutes before DH went in. He will fall back asleep in our arms, but the moment we try to put him back into his crib he wakes up and the crying starts all over again.
My husband and I haven't had a good night's sleep in about a month. Anyone have any experience/advice on this? We're completely burned out.

Re: Toddler Sep. Anxiety- Crying all night
We are going through the same thing. Our son is 2 years old and it has been worse than ever. He was up last night from 2:30am to 5:45am. We have a two week old as well and this is such a bad time for him to have separation anxiety.
I feel like crying all night.

Re: Toddler Sep. Anxiety- Crying all night
I DID cry last night. When DS finally fell asleep in his crib at 4am, my husband walked in to find ME crying because I'm due in September with baby #2 and now I'm TERRIFIED.

Re: Toddler Sep. Anxiety- Crying all night
are you transitioning him into another room? I'm trying to understand why he's so upset?
