Another d&c question - hopefully last one

Sorry to keep bringing it up - I just have been thinking a lot about it. I am only 1 week past d&c, but am thinking ahead. I noticed a lot of girls on here were given the okay after one AF. Are you going for it? What are your feelings about it? I was told to wait at least 2 AF's, and it puts a fear in me, that if I don't wait 2 AF's, then god forbid if something went wrong, I'd have to go through that all over again. At the same time, I can't wait to be pregnant again and want it so badly. It seems different doctors have different views. Some say its to estimate a due date, others say to let your lining heal so it can hold another baby.

What are your thoughts on this?

ETA: I was 8 weeks when it happened.

i had a dnc in july. i did not get my period until september (and that was brought on by taking provera). i got pregnant again in october, and at 5 weeks i had severe red bleeding. we are not sure why it happened. we suspect that b/c i did not have a "real" AF, that the lining needed to shed a bit. but who really knows!

i am 9 1/2 weeks today and so far, so good! i think some docs say that to make sure they can give a more reliable due date, and also to make sure that you are ready emotionally.

I M/C in September but did not have D&C. I got a methotrexate shot because my levels were not going down. I was advised to ait one normal cycle. Here is my timing, hopefully it will help.
Got a BFP on 9/11
Started bleeding on 9/14
Got the methotrexate shot around 10/5
Bled until 10/18
Got my period on 10/21
TTC that cycle but did not get PG
Got my next period on 11/22 am TTC now!

I have read a lot on this subject. D&C's "clean out your uterus more than a natural M/C so the issue is that your uterine lining may not thicken enough in one cycle to support implantation. I have also read that many Dr's advise a different waiting period based on emotional readiness. I personall believe that once you get a normal period your body is probably ready but that is just based on my own research. Good luck to you.

Thanks guys, that helps a lot. If AF takes over one month to come, then I will try for sure. If it comes after 30 days...I have an enormous fear of m/c because I might not be healed properly - but I want so badly to conceive again. Good luck to you both!

my drs said wait one cycle , i got af on friday wright on time 26 days from teh day i started to m/c. my cycles ghave always been 26 days. so we will be trying next week so hopefully by chritmas we will have some good news. AGAIN...
