Ziti - How Much?

I've never made ziti and I'm cooking it for DD's bday next week. There are about 30 people coming. I found a recipe on this board but my question is approximately how much ziti, sauce cheese, ricotta, etc. should I buy to make it? The recipe I found called for one box which is obviously not enough and since I don't really cook pasta, I have no idea how much one box actually feeds TIA Chat Icon Chat Icon

Chat Icon I bought a HUGE tray from Party City, so it looks like it will feed more than 6 people.

Are you saying one box is good for 6 people? So I should buy 5 boxes?

Re: Ziti - How Much?

in my experience for one tray with sausage cut up in it, it's 4 boxes of ziti, one big container of ricotta, and 1 pound of shredded mozzerella, and two packages of sausage...(I like premio, one hot and one sweet, cook them in the sauce and then cut them up like 1/2 inch think rings, yummo).
