My Inlaws have it and they have to watch and read everything to make sure there is no wheat , flour and all that in the ingredients . Maybe there is a good website or a book you can learn from?

ETA: they shop alot at trader Joes and other health food stores they eat alot of rice cakes and they sell bagels and cakes and all that good stuff at those stores like wild by nature

A good friend of mine has it... she just pretty much stays away from bread. Shops at Whole Foods and TD a lot (and Wegmens - but she's upstate). Those stores tend to have a lot of gluten-free products.

She will, on occasion, have some pasta, or a piece of cake. Sometimes it's okay, sometimes it's not. She just eats those things very sparingly.

I don't have Celiacs, but I have a gluten sensitivity (positive in 1 out of 3 categories)

I avoid wheat and flour....as much as possible

I basically live on Atkins, and once in a while treat myself

Its not too bad once you get used to it

I don't have it but I know Chilis has a a gluten free menu if you request it.

My DD has food allergies - We avoided wheat the first 2 years of her life.

Wild by NAture makes alot of breads and pasta's that are gluten free - As does Stop and Shop - The Natures Promise brand.

Do a google search for food allergies - You will find a wealth of knowledge about Celiac disease.
