Re: frozen veggie burgers

Boca arent really veggie burgers, they are soy protein with more of a texture and shape similar to meat. If you want a burger with liked chunks of veggies, its not a boca burger.

I like the Morning star farms black bean burgers.

Re: frozen veggie burgers

I think they dont microwave well. I usually put them in a pan with a little cooking spray and brown them up that way.

I really only like Dr. Praegar's Veggie burgers, especially the Tex Mex ones. I put them in the toaster oven & they get nce & crispy on the outside.

Agreed!

morningstar has a lot of different types. I don't like their ones with the veggies in them, for that style i prefer Gardenburger. mmmmm

I prefer Morning Star farms as well. The texture of boca burgers is not that great. Dr. Praeger's are good too.

Those are my favorite. I never microwave veggie burgers. I usually heat them in a skillet.

Re: frozen veggie burgers

I hate boca burgers, but that's because I'm a vegetarian because I dislike meat Chat Icon I like the morningstar gardenburger - it's really good if you grill it up on the foreman grill for 5 minutes. Yummmmmmmmm....

Re: frozen veggie burgers

Try Veggie Patch Portobello Mushroom and Garlic burgers, thats if you like mushrooms of course. You can usually find them in the produce section. I buy them in costco and freeze them. They're great

I've only had Eat Positive Portabello Mushroom burgers. Mainly because they're less WW points.

Re: frozen veggie burgers

Not a fan of Boca burgers...morningstar has quite an array of veggie burgers...my favorites are grillers original, grillers prime, chick patties (NOT ITALIAN OR PARM ONE), and the pizza burger, also their sausage patties are YUMMY. DH is not a fan of veggie burgers (he does eat meat) and he liked a texas blend from Amy's line, and morning star sausage patties. HTH Chat Icon
