Does anyone have United Health Care?
I have to switch insurace and I have no clue which one to choose. Just wondering if anyone has United Health Care and if they like it or not.

I'm happy with them, but I really think it depends more on your company than the insurance company - they elect to cover or not cover certain things, KWIM?

I agree...with my last 4 jobs I have always had UHC but there was definitely a difference between each and that comes down to the company.
Overall I love UHC though.

No referral process, the co-pay is $25 where with my other Insurance it was only like $10, but for what they cover I will deal with it!

I had it too...and they were great. they also have a great program for people with cancer. you're automatically covered for anything at Sloan-Kettering including hotel stays if god forbi, you have to travel to one of their centers for treatment.

I have United Health Care and I really like it. They have a HUGE network of participating doctors and you don't need a referral to see a specialist.
The no referral thing is very important to me because in the past I had nightmare experiences trying to see a dermatologist or pulmonary specialist when I had an HMO.
