willow valley food
I saw some posts about this hotel and checked out the web site. I am thinking about vacationing there this summer and I see that they have the meal package or room only option. I am curious about how you all felt about the food there. THANKS!

Re: willow valley food
i used to stay there as a kid with my parents. the restaurant had a nightly buffet that was amazing back then. can't speak for how it is now though. i remember really liking that place.

Re: willow valley food
I have been there a ton of times when I was little and me and my mom were just on the site yesterday planning a trip with my niece.
We went for the package that includes breakfast and dinner. The food is very good and it is worth it to get the package rather than pay each time you go.

Re: willow valley food
I go there every year with my husband's family. We only do the breakfast buffet (which is very plentiful--not many healthy options, but SUPER tasty)
We go to dinner around the town as we find their breakfast is much better than their dinner.

Re: willow valley food
I am going again this weekend. I dont recommend both breakfast and dinner unles syou want to throw up. The food is VERY heavy. We do the breakfsat which is fantatstic and HUGE. We did the dinner once but its nothing to write home about. Mainly turkey, potatoes, ham ...hearty type foods. The bakery...now thats a different story....YUMMY!

Re: willow valley food
I used to go there with my family when I was younger. I'm sure it has changed a bit since then so this may not help. I remember Willow Valley had a great Sunday brunch. We used to eat at the nearby restaurants for dinner. We went to a lot of casual buffet-style places (Plain 'N Fancy, Good and Plenty, and Miller's). They were pretty good. Miller's was the best one IMO. We also went to the Stockyard Inn, which was very good.
