Do you have a plan ?
I usually am 5 steps ahead of myself and need a plan of action to calm myself down, however I do not with this topic. Is is ok that I do not know who is going to watch the baby when I have to go back to work? Is it ok, that I am doing whatever happens happens?
I am nervous....

Re: Do you have a plan ?
My DH is a big planner.. and before we started TTC he needed to have a plan with what is going to happen after the baby is born.. Well my Mother agreed to watch the baby three times a week while I went back to work and I would work from home the other two days...
#1 this plan has changed five times since we talked about in August.
#2 I am pretty sure that if we are even lucky enough to get PG... that within the next year the plan will change 10 more times.
IMO: I made a plan to appease my DH.. but I feel that yes having a plan is nice, but most of the time you work things out closer to when the reality of it will hit.

Re: Do you have a plan ?
Our plan is daycare!
But I am hoping that my boss lets me work from home one day a week. I figure that if I ask for two he will be more likely to agree to one!
Now if I could just O and get this show on the road!

Re: Do you have a plan ?
When we plan, God laughs. There's no saying what's going to happen. I planned my whole life around the fact that I was going to have a baby over two years ago. The best advice I can give to EVERYONE is to do exactly what you are doing right now, and to have FUN with it. It's so easy to get caught up and obsessed with TTC and what you are GOING to do when/if you have a baby, that you lose sight of everything else, including your relationship with your DH. Keep your head up and trust your instincts. If you feel it's the right time, it is -- plan or no plan.

Re: Do you have a plan ?
We do have a plan, but even if we didn't, it wouldn't stop us. Right now I have two part time jobs. I work morning teaching creative movement at day care centers and then 4 afternoons a week I teach dance with my mom. My mom is planning on retiring at the end of this year (June) and I will take over the dance studio. Once I have a baby I will quit doing the creative movement classes. So I will be home Mon-Wed. until 2:45 and my mom amd MIL will share babysitting duties until DH gets off work. My long dance day is Thurs. and I work from 11:30-8:30. DH will work from home that day, and then I have Friday, Saturday, Sunday off.

Re: Do you have a plan ?
No plan for us. I would assume daycare. I figure we'll discuss that when we get to that road someday. Who knows what can change in life by then

Re: Do you have a plan ?
Man plans, and God laughs.
I am just now starting my own business -- no maternity leave for me if and when it happens. But I can't keep putting things of "just in case" I get pg. You have to just live life and roll with the punches. Everything works out in the end, even if it isn't as we expected.....
