Starting a December Mommy Thread!!!!
Thought we should start this thread!!!
I'm Jen. I'm approximiately 4 weeks and a few days!
So far, my bb's have been on fire on and off, crazy constipation and then crazy not constipation....mild cramping and waking up ravenous like I can eat a 7 course meal right in bed!
My EDD is Dec23rd.
I'm seeing my OBGYN tomorrow for bloodwork!!!
What about the other December ladies

I'm Brooke. Based on my LMP, I'm 5 weeks, 1 day although I think I O'd late and am closer to 4 weeks.
I've been very queasy the past few days, burping like crazy, and crampy (mostly on my sides). My stomach expands so much after eating.
Today, I've been feeling much better, which makes me nervous. I worry about every symptom or lack thereof.
My first appointment is on 5/1.

I *think* my due date is December 27. 2nd beta tomorrow. I am excited and nervous as I have a history. Being as optimistic as i can and looking forward to talking with all you ladies.
I am slightly crampy and think I am feeling round ligament pain and uterine stretching, sore bbs, and slight heartburn.

Hi Im Kim and I think I am like 5 weeks. I went for a sono today because I was spotting a little and wanted to make sure it was all good. I heard a faint heartbeat which made me smile and I go back again next Thursday for my real sono. This is my second child I have a 2 year old Brianna

It can be dull or shooting and it is in th every lower belly and sometimes in the groin

I'm 7w4days...EDD is December 1st...which is my first wedding anniversary! I won't have the babies anytime close to that though because I am having twins!
I am nautious in the mornings and I feel lots of stretching and light cramping here and there but other than that I am feeling great!

I just found out I'm PG yesterday - my EDD is around 12/24 - woohoo a Christmas baby!!!!
I have been having some cramping and light spotting, heartburn and a little queasiness.
I havne't called the Dr. yet, for some reason I feel like I should wait until next week and make sure AF really doesn't show - I'll probably be POAS all weekend long, just so I believe this is true 
Congrats everyone!!! an Jenna congrats on the twins!!! That is so awesome - everyone tells me I'm crazy but I would love to have twins

Hi,
According to the online calculators, I'm due around Dec 9! But I have my first prenatal next Thurs, so I should know more then. So far I haven't had morning sickness, but very tired all the time, sore bbs, and sometimes a little crampy.

I was due 12/24 but I had Sofia 12/13 for medical reasons. I was thrilled to have my angel home for the holidays!
I did'nt miss anything and I cooked for XMAS Day and New Years Day.. I am nuts...

Just wanted to say congrats to all your ladies!!!
I also wanted to say something about combining gifts. In my immediate family, my mother is born Dec 10th, I'm the 11th and my sister is the 27th. My mom made it a point to always get seperate gifts for us because she didn't like when people did it to her when she was little. She would also NEVER let us use any money we got for our b-days towards other people's x-mas presents.
You just have to make sure that from the very beginning, you celebrate the days seperately for yourself and for the rest of your family and friends. If you don't combine the days, no one else will. Congrats again!!!!

Thank you for your perspective on this - I was wondering if it would be a bit of a bummer for the baby being so close to Christmas.
I'll make it a point to keep the birthday seperate from Christmas :)

I'm Beth--and I still can't believe I'm joining a "Mommy Thread". DH and I are both still in shock!
Since this pregnancy was planned down to the microsecond, I was able to figure that my EDD is December 18th. I will know more once I go for my first sono/viability scan on 4/29. Supposedly they'll look for the gestational sac, I'll be able to see the heartbeat (), and get my EDD!
Looking forward to sharing some good times with you fine ladies.

No it wasn't hard. I came home on 12/23 ( I had a c-section) and we stayed in on Christmas eve but went out on Christmas day. We had to change our plans because where we normally would go to my families for Christmas, some of the kids were sick. So we went to DH's family.
I was worried about having to miss the holidays and I was nuts about making sure the christmas tree was up early just in case. But in the end honestly it would have been fine if I had to miss a holiday just because having a child totally makes all that stuff not as important. I was on cloud 9 and even DH who is a big baby and had to miss his family's big x-mas eve dinner, santa coming for the kids at midnight and midnight sausage, was in heaven being home with his son.
DH is born 12/21 so we are used to having b-days near Christmas and not combining gifts etc. And let me tell you there is something VERY special about having your DC here for such a happy time of year.
AND T- I told you there is no way on this earth that #2 is coming any time soon!!!!! I am enjoying DS too much to even think of another one anytime soon! (Although DS was unplanned so you never know )
