who are you using and have you enjoyed your experience with them?

I use the Stony Brook Midwives . I have not had my baby yet, but I switched to them around 22 weeks and have been 100% happy since then. So far I have met all but one of the midwives and love them all.
If you do a search on here you will see tons of feedback. I have a few friends on and off the borads that also use them and I never heard a negative thing.
You should attend the "Meet the Midwives" night at the hospital. They introduce themselves, so over their philisophy, have Q&A session, and then give you a tour of the L&D. There is info about this on their website (like is above).

I used Stony Brook Midwives and LOVED them! I switched at around 20 weeks so I didn't get to meet everyone since I delivered a month early, but my delivery went fantastic and everyone was so nice. I really like that they fully support medicated or non medicated births as well as breastfeeding and formula feeding.

I go to Diane Lucks is a highly qualified and dedicated clinician who is a Certified Midwife Practitioner.She delivered my first child and will my second.
She is in Garden city

While I gave birth in Virginia, I did want to say I LOVED my midwife experience! She was there the entire time with me and I felt so comfortable and at ease. I will be using this practice again when I am blessed (I pray) with baby #2.

I switched to the Stony Brook Midwives around week 26 and I love them. They delivered DS last month and I had a wonderful birth experience. I highly recommend them!

Crashing the boards again.. I second this rec.
I used them for the pg that I m/c'ed. I have never ever experienced such kind and compassionate health care! She called me every single day! In the end I had complications and I had to switch back to my ob and after experiencing Susan (the midwife), I hate my OB. They were so cold compared to her.
