I tend to be in the 75-80 range but that's because the highways in NJ are 65mph speed limit.
It's very tough to adjust to 55mph when I visit Long Island!

Me, too. Exactly 72. (the most I'll go, range is 65-72.)
(I once learned from insiders when I was living in Los Angeles that the unwritten limit before getting a speeding ticket was 72. Not that that is true here in NY. But that number has stuck with me. lol.)

I used to drive fast, but then got a ticket that put 6 points on my license, so I try to keep it under 70 now.

i drive through some pretty uncongested roads here in central jersey at 85 but it doestn feel like im goign fast b/c my cars brand new.. it just seems to glide.. once in awihle im like uh oh better slow down.. avg speed is 70 though.. not to get there faster just b/c its what tends to happen when im not paying attention

ok, I'm amused... I thought I was the only one with the 72 rule....
(I never got a speeding ticket.... knock on wood!)
