Anyone have Silouettes from Hunter Doulgas?
We want to do these on our windows...we like the effect. Just was looking to see if anyone had them and how you liked them. Also, where you got them from...Thanks

we didn't do that but we have hunter douglas wood blinds we got from Janovic in seaford on Merrick Road

We have them on two of our large front windows. I love the look. I will try and take pics to post. We ordered them from the wallpaper wharehouse on 110 in farmingdale.

We are considering them for two large sliders. They are a great look. We are still pricing them out. The quotes we got were , so we are still looking.
ETA: The sliders would get Luminettes, the windows would get Sihouettes. The Luminettes were the costlier part of the quotes we got.

yep like I said before my mom is an interior designer and is in there all the time and goes over colors for paint allll the time. I like them

I have a Silouette from Hunter Douglas on my Living Room window. I love it!! I wish I could have done silouettes on all my windows, but it's kind of expensive. I got mine from Blinds and Beyond in Seaford. They come to the house with the HD books, measure the windows and do the installation. The whole process took about 2-3 weeks.

We have them in our Living Room, Dining Room, Den/Playroom, and Master bedroom.
I LOVE THEM. YOu have plenty of privacy, if you just want light you can just extend them down still allowing for privacy yet letting plenty of light in, or you can open them all the way.
We are excited to get them...what kind do you have/what color???

When they are open you can see out, and the people on the street can see in, but only light and shadows. When they are closed they give complete privacy. I have a light ivory to match the walls in the living room.

I'm getting Luminnette's for my LR. I got 3 quotes...all in the same ballpark, around $2K-$2500 (it's a very large window). The place that came in the cheapest, surprisingly, was Home Expo!
I'll post pics after they are installed.

We have them and we love them! It was worth every penny! We have a bow window in our living room that overlooks a main road and we wanted to have sunlight come in, but we also wanted some privacy so people walking in the street don't see into our house too much. Aboff's did it for us- they came and measured and installed it for us a week later. Originally, the said it would take 3 weeks to get the blinds in, but we were pleasantly surprised a week later when they came in!
Our house also came with a set of HD silhoutte blinds in our bathroom. This one is motorized with a remote control- but the remote is a pain.
