Looking for a new craft

I am looking to take up a new hobby and would love to learn a new craft. Any suggestions? I'm going to be taking a knitting class, but in the meantime, I'd like to go to a craft store, pick up some materials, and play around with something new. Any suggestions?

Re: Looking for a new craft

Michaels & AC Moore have some really neat complete crat kits. I have picked up a couple of the staned glass kits and they came out pretty good. I am also starting to get into scrapbooking (both places have a ton of stuff), crocheting and card making. I hope this helps.

If you are interested in getting into scrapbooking, cardmaking is a good place to start - actually when I get overwhelmed with SB, I just make cards.

you could even find a Stamping Up rep to have a party at your house and have your friends come to make some projects.
