May and June Mommys maternity leave?
When are you going to start maternity leave? I am 36weeks and ready now.

C-section is scheduled for 5/27, so 5/23 is my last day~

I'm 35wks and plan to work to the end. We don't get maternity leave here - we get 6wks disability.

I worked until the end with my son but that was much easier. I could take a nap whenever I wanted. Now I have a 15 month old to chase.
For those of you that plan on working until the end how many other kids do you have and how old are they?

Im hoping for the c section scheduled for the first week of june. I made my last day to be May 23rd and I will be 37 weeks on that day. I have a 30-40 min commute to work.. and im just so tired of this... i wish it was now..

c-section scheduled for Friday. I had planned to work until 4/28, but I was too uncomfortable at work so I pulled myself on 4/11(There was also a school vacation thrown in there).

I am planning to work until the end but I will start to work from home a little bit more often. I am going to talk to my doctor about it. I only have 6 weeks of short term disability and then I am planning to use all of my vacation time so I can stay home a little longer.

I think they will plan to induce me or even do a section a week before my due date. I will probably take off a few days before that, unless the doctor says he wants me out of work sooner. I'm an SLP in a school, so I'll be able to take sick time until the end of the year, have the summer off, and start my maternity leave in the fall.

I am working until my due date, and even then I may go a couple of days over. I would much rather have my maternity leave after the baby is born so that I can spend as much time with the baby as possible.
