18 weeks and need new doctor
Help! I am 18 weeks pregnant and my husband and I have had a few scares with lab results. We had lab screw ups, doctor receptionist screw ups and were scared for a whole month our baby might not be healthy. THank god everything is ok but my doctor has the nerve to tell us we have made too many phone calls to the office and its stressing her out! Can you believe that she had the audacity to tell us all our phone calls regarding test results was too much. We are now in search for a new doctor and it is very nerve wracking to be switching now. Any reccommendations for a doctor who is associated with southside or good sam? I am in the holbrook area. oakdale obgyn i heard was good. Any feedback is tremendously appreciated!!

oh my goodness!! i am sorry, i don't have any recommendations (i live in nassau) but my friend delivered at south side and had a great experience.
welcome - it sounds like you are switching doctors just in time!!

I used Dr. Trivedi in North Babylon and delivered at Good Sam. He is great!!! I had to switch at 36 weeks. He had always been my dr. but left the practice. So that was tough. FM me if you want his #

That is horrible!!! I switched from a practice in Nassau County to a wonderful doctor in North Babylon. His name is Dr. Kiran Trivedi. He is a sole practitioner and delivers at Good Sam [possibly Southside too.] He is a caring man who really goes the extra mile for his patients. He used to be part of a big group but decided to break away from them and go on his own. He shares an office with another OB and the staff is wonderful! Never have I gotten a snotty woman on the phone and the sono tech is a sweetheart.
Also, Dr. T gives his patients his cell phone # so if you have any pressing issues, he tells you to call him! Debsey75 referred him to me, as he delivered her son AJ last Nov. and will deliver her baby to be this coming Nov. He is the kindest and calmest OB I have ever know. I give him my highest recommendation!! And my hubby loves him too!
