sometimes, i don't know what God's thinking

so.. i've posted on here before that i can't have bio kids because i have Turners Syndrome, which makes my ovaries unformed which means i don't produce eggs. even with IVF we'd have to use a donor egg, and even then they don't recommend it because of health risks for me.
so ANYWAY- i just found out this morning that my 24 year old cousin who isnt married, who drinks like a fish AND smokes pot all the time is pregnant by her short term boyfriend!
i love my cousin and we've always gotten along well... but i just don't understand why people with that lifestyle can get pregnant but stable people like DH and i can't just wonder what God is thinking sometimes

I know it's hard to comprehend at times but I truly believe everything happens for a reason. It's the only way I can get through most days.

I face situations like this on a daily basis, but the only way I get through the day is knowing that God has a plan for me and his timing is perfect

I've often thought about becoming a drug addict b/c it must preserve the reproductive organs (or at least relax your body enough to not harm that part). Look how many kids all the rock legends have. Here I am eating organic, exercising, no alcohol etc.... Ok, I guess it's not going to go down like that, but something is not right there...I agree. My SIL used to smoke pot every day. At 39 she decided she she wanted a baby. 3 months later she was pg and she smoked the entire pregnancy. My nephew is the smartest kid I ever met, his IQ is off the charts and he's healthy and beautiful.

Ugh. I feel the same way so often. It took us a very long time to get pregnant, and then we lost our precious little girl at 38.5 weeks. I see all over women who smoke/do drugs/drink/ etc when they are pregnant and I not so much as ate a piece of ham because of the nitrates.....you're absolutely right, these things are cruel and unfair. And I can absolutely see why you would question God. But I personally have come to a place in my grieving where I think that God is crying with me, and had nothing to do with causing me this pain. And I KNOW that someday I will feel the joy of parenthood. And at that time, God will smile with me. But you have every right to feel that this is all so unfair. Because it is.

I ask myself the same question all the time. It just does not seem fair but hopefully there is a plan of hope out there for all of us.

I wish I knew the answer to these questions because I ask the same thing all time!!
