I'm still at a plateau
of 135lbs, for the past two weeks. I'm eating as healthy as a person possibly can and exercising at least 40 minutes a day, and I've been switching up the exercise these days.
I eat all my points (20) and on rare occasion, I'll eat a few exercise points, but I rarely, if never, delve into my flex points.
My typical day is a piece of homeade whole wheat bread/muffin with tea, fruit or cheese for a snack, a salad with egg or tuna for lunch, fruit or lowfat cheese for a snack, and either fish and veggies, or hummus, pita, egg or falafel.
Do I maybe need to eat more? Less?
Think I'll ever budge past this number or what?

Re: I'm still at a plateau
Maybe try moving your carb to another meal other than breakfast. What about fruit & cheese for breakfast and a muffin or bread later in the day?
Are you doing any interval type workouts? You said that you do at least 40 minutes a day. What about doing an intense workout for 25 minutes one day and then doing 45 minutes of your regular exercise the next day. What do your workouts consist of? I know for me, I dropped weight when I started to run again. Do you jog at all?

You are doing WW, right? I think you posted in another thread that at 145 you were eating 20 points and at 135 you are still eating the same, right? Technically, you should be eating one less point because you dropped down into the 130's.......

That's weird - I do it online and it never switched my points when my weight went down

I either take a long, brisk walk, do pilates, the elliptical or go for a bike ride around our hilly neighborhood.
I used to jog 3 miles a day, before I had DD - maybe it's time to get back into it.

Re: I'm still at a plateau
Sounds to me like you really should be eating more - especially if you are exercising! If you aren't taking your activity points you really should be eating some (if not all) of your flex points. A lot of people seem to think not eating flex points will help you lose weight faster but I have found quite the opposite. I eat all my flex every week and sometimes more than my share

you have to redo the test when you go from 140 to 139.

Re: I'm still at a plateau
How many days do you exercise? Try doing 5 instead of 7. And, try switching how you eat. Add more carbs, or more protein.

Re: I'm still at a plateau
When I was on WW and hit a plateau I found that actually eating MORE would kind of jumpstart me again. I would go out to dinner and be "bad" and then the next day I would be like 2lbs lighter - I was always like but hey whatever works!! Good luck!!

It's possible, though I've found in the past my resting weight seems to be somewhere around 129-132lbs, so I could probably lose another 5lbs.
I'll try some of the recommendations here, and just keep at it, and try to focus on the fact that it's a lifestyle change that is the ultimate goal, not the weight loss

Re: I'm still at a plateau
I agree with azoodie, I think you need to eat more. If you are exercising that much, you should be eating more of your flex or exercise points. I would use them for more protein.
You also might want to try adding eating more for breakfast. Maybe something with more protein? Egg whites, low fat cheese and oatmeal with milk are always good options.
Also, keep in mind you have made awesome progress. Keep telling yourself how great your doing. Try not to get discouraged by this- sometimes your body just needs a rest from losing weight!

Re: I'm still at a plateau
I think you need to eat more. I don't know anything about WW b/c I count calories and fat grams etc, but you need to eat more is what it sounds like. Especially if you are working out more than when you started.
But if you eat more, don't eat more carbs or fat grams, go for food with protein in it, especially after you work-out. I have heard that eating carbs before a work out is a good way to get energy for your workout.

Re: I'm still at a plateau
Since you have been exercising so much maybe you are gaining muscle mass and that is why the scale has not moved. Have you measured yourself to see if you have lost inches? Do your clothes fit better/different?
