ultrascreen/heart rate
This is a silly question but just curious...Was everyone told the baby's heart rate at the ultrascreen? And if so how much was it? I'm just curious because someone told me that is the peek of the rate, usually after the 12 week mark it slows down a bit.

Our heartbeat was exactly the same at 16 as it was at 12 weeks.

 HB is always between 150-155
eta: we didn't get a HB until 15 weeks

Baby's HB at Ultrascreen was 138bpm. It has been between 138bpm and 144bpm since then. I am now 22 weeks.

i asked what it was at each sono. at 8 weeks, it was 169, at 12 weeks it was 158, and at 20 weeks it was 131.

I don't think I was told what it was. If I was told, I don't remember. I just remember being told that everything looked good.

I asked what the baby's HR was at the Ultrascreen... it was 172. At my 17 week appt on Monday, my doc did a doppler and we listened to the HB. He estimated that it was about 150 [the machine didn't have a mechanism to read the actual HB just listen to it.] So I freaked and asked my doc if that was bad since it was in the 170's at 9 weeks and 12 weeks. He told me that the HB usually slows down in the 2nd trimester... No worries!!

Thanks girls. The heartrate at my ultrascreen was 160, I didn't get the # on my 8th week. I'll see if mine goes down as well on my level II.
