question (a liitle long)
Hi all. I haven't posted on this board in months but I've been lurking. Let me give you a quick background before I ask my question if you don't mind. I've been waiting to start IVF for the past 4 months or so. I had to wait for lab results because I am doing PGD. Anyway last week I finally got the go ahead to begin
So I went to see Dr. Hershlag from NSUH on 5/21 and he surprised me by immediately doing a trial transfer. I was prescribed provera to bring on a period and he told me to come back in a week. When I went to get the prescription from the nurse she told me to make an appointment with her to learn how to do the Lupron and sign consent forms. So I did.
Now here's my question - should I have also made an appointment with the Dr.? or will she just give me the Lupron? I'm nervous that I should have done that.
Sorry this was so long. Thanks for your help!

Re: question (a liitle long)
That's exactly what I have to do at my RE clinic -- I schedule a meeting with the nurse to sign consents, and she goes over with me how to use the drugs. I believe it's pretty standard....

Re: question (a liitle long)
same here, the only time I talk to my RE is if we have a follow up visit with him after a failed procedure or something.
My RE's nurse is the person I am in constant contact with.
