Yep and he was there for Pap and breast exam too. He has been to every one. You will not see the hb at 5 weeks-it starts around 6 You will probably see a black sac with a yolk sace and maybe a tiny blob. GL!

My husband only comes to the ones with sonos...there is no need for him to go to the other ones and miss work.

No he did not. It is too hard to get off of work and then have to sit there and wait sometimes. He has come to the important ones with me, that is all that matters to me.

Our first appt was our longest
They did a sono and asked us both a TON of history questions. Then they sent us over for a sono. So yes, DH came to my first appt and he went to any appt we had a sono at after then. Since I've been going every week, he's been coming with me to those appts too..

i wanted him to come and he himself wanted to be there so that made me feel great  we were able to see the heart beat and find out all the do's and dont's so it was great to have him there. def bring him along if he can make it!

My first appt. the doctor did a pap and a breast exam, it was my 1st time meeting him (I changed practices when I learned I was pregnant)
Then he spent a lot of time speaking to me and DH and answering questions and going over everything.

Yes, my husband went with me 2 my first appt., I'm glad he did cause it was on his birthday and if he had not gone he wouldn't have been able 2 see the baby. I realize that usually they do a pap the first visit and then blood work, but not every doctor or appt. is the same. I didn't expect 2 have an ultrasound done, but I was 8weeks and 6days and the doctor said let's see if we can hear a heart beat. Well she tried and couldn't get it so she sent me 2 another room and they did one. My husband has 2 kids of his own and never got 2 see and ultrasound never mind a pic, so it made a great birthday present 4 him. I think if ur husband wants and is willing 2 go with u, let him. What happens if he misses something?

My first one no.....it was a pap and breast exam.
The next one yes, we had a sonogram and sat
down with the doctor and talked about everything.
