Recommend doctors in the Bellmore area
Now that I moved, I finally need to choose doctors. We just changed health plans at work, and now I have GHI.
Please recommend your general practitioner, OB-GYN, and allergist. Thanks!

OB/GYN I see Dr. Glasser at LI Womens Health Care in Bellmore off of Merrick Rd.
For a family practitioner I use Dr. Shore in Bellmore again off Merrick Rd. but the wait is always so long....

OB/GYN I see Dr. Carinci at LI Womens Health Care in Bellmore on Merrick Rd.
For a family practitioner I use Dr. Mary King in Bellmore, in the same building. Dr. King also sees men.
I highly recommend both of them... very proactive and thorough.

I highly recommend both of them... very proactive and thorough.
When I lived in Bellmore I used Dr. King...She was phenomenal!

Dr Grace Gates, LI Womens Health Care. DO NOT USE Dr. Douglas Phillips- he has no bedside manner. For dentist, Dr. Berkenfeld on Newbridge Rd. In Bellmore. HTH

I used to see Dr. Brian Moynihan as my GP. He is with East Meadow Family Practice (which is actually in Bellmore). Loved him!!!!

After reading all of these rave reviews about Dr. King, I decided to try her. She isn't making new appointments, as she has been called up to the Reserves!
yes, she was a doctor with the Army and occassionally gets called up. if you can get an appointment, she is worth the wait. she is so thorough... she got testing and bloodwork done for me that all these other doctors before "poo-pooed" and said they weren't necessary. turns out, i needed surgery to remove ovarian cysts. she saved my fertility...seriously!

after reading through this thread, I realized when I was seeing Dr. King she was called back to duty and I started seeing Dr. Moynihan...I don't go to the dr. that often, but he was great too. And Dr. Grace Gates used to be part of my OB's office- she was nice, but I liked my OB better, she was a little too laid back for me.

Has anyone gone to Dr. Elsayad who is at East Meadow Family Practice? I just made an appointment with him b/c Dr. Moynihan was booked for quite awhile and I need a PPD for work.

I have seen all the drs in the East Meadow family practice. I like them all. The office does everything there so it saves any trips.

That is my doctor! He is great!  I have been going to him for almost two years now. I am happy with East Meadow Family Practice. Good luck! Let me know how it goes!
