Lyme's disease?

Who do you go to, to ask to be tested about this? Just your regular dr??
We live on a creek and I have already seen several ticks this year- my dog has gotten them, I had one biting my back last weekend, etc....
The last few days I've felt exhausted all day. I have a really bad headache today. My neck hurts, and I'm achey. I looked up lyme's disease - and all of these things are symptoms... so now I'm wondering if I have it. I can barely get off of my couch today... I feel like I'm 90 years old.

Oh you poor thing. My co-worker has it and its not fun. You should get a blood test asap. I hope you don't have it.

Your regular doctor can send you for a blood test. A friend of mine had it and ended up seeing a rheumatologist for her care, but it was a simple blood test to find out if she had it.

My mom has it. It affected her thyroid so now she is on pills for that every day. She said the testing was very difficult because they have to screen out other things in order to dianose Lyme's.

I had it last year. Regular doc did bloodwork, but I caught it early. I had the huge bullseye on my back, was achy to the point I could not lift my left arm without intense pain. 3 weeks of antibiotics and i was ok.
