sad thing is - willie may get the axe sooner rather than later
and i can't really blame him
he's not out there goofing off - they're just not motivated - which maybe has something to do with him, but i just don't understand

you really think they are cutting him loose soon?? i dont hate him and i dont love him ... its just a really tough situation the Mets are in right now.
as for last nights game, we cant blame Billy , he has been AMAZING for us..
now we have to look forward to Arizona.. this should be fun

something obviously is NOT clicking with them... they have decent pitching and a good lineup.. so why on earth can they not score more than 1 run in 3 games in a row
something HAS to happen,, i just cant see them making the playoffs .. now they are 7.5 back.. how pitiful ..

I'm glad I missed it too. We don't have SNY. Our cable provider doesn't carry it in our area and any games on ESPN are blacked out. We occasionally get weekend games on the WB, but with the way they're playing, I'm kind of glad we don't get most games this season.

I'm in CT so it's Red Sox and Yankees country here. Before SNY, we got all of the Mets games, but the cable providers in our area don't include SNY in any package. Our only option is to get Direct TV, which we may eventually do.
