Re: Bakery?
Most people think I am nuts but I have to say I have not found a better bakery-when it comes to sheet cakes/party cakes than the one at King Kullen.
They have the BEST cakes- super fresh and delicious.
I have used a lot of the privately owned bakeries on Long Island- even some VERY expensive ones- and the cakes never compared.
They are seriously awesome

Re: Bakery?
We had our wedding at Mediterranean Manor and I'm not even sure if they use an outside bakery, but the cake was AMAZING! People are still talking about the cake and food overall!
I'll try to find out for you!

They are really great, my wedding cake was from there and my mom recently got a delicious pregnant cannoli from there for a friends shower

Lombardi's Market in Holbrook has a bakery section. I haven't had stuff from that section, but I've heard it's good.
I'd like to hear other suggestions.

I agree. King Kullen has excellent bakeries. I've never had a bad cake of pastry from them.
There is also Swan Bakery in patchogue that is very good.

Re: Bakery?
There is a bakery on 12 just south of Woodside Ave in the shopping center next to 7-11. The name is Dolce Momenti or something like that. I've gotten some stuff there - some good and some not so good.
I second Mama Lomabardi's Market - they are excellent but !
Audrey's in Sayville is usually good too but one time my mother got something there that was totally stale. She took it back and they gave her a store credit.
