Re: Acupuncture
Some people believe that acupuncture helps with IVF. I know at LI Holistic, they have a 60% success rate for IVF cycles. There have been studies done also that state that it helps with IVF success.
Others use it b/c it's been known to lower FSH levels.

Re: Acupuncture
I have heard it works. I never had it done but contemplated it!! I'll see if I get a BFP after this cycle, if not then I'll probably go.

Same here! The needles do not hurt (only the one he puts by my ankle pinches very slightly).....I listen to my meditation CD's on my Ipod when I am there. I find it EXTREMELY relaxing......The acupuncturist I use specializes in infertility and is affiliated with my RE clinic. On the day of my ER, he will be there and give me a treatment before and after the ER....They tell me they have a much better success rate than those who don't use acupuncture. With 2 failed IVF cycles, I'm willing to try! If anything, it totally de-stresses me.

Re: Acupuncture
I go to LI Holistic also. Although I have not been successful yet, I have seen a huge improvement in my FSH levels and my 2nd IVF had much better results. You need to go to someone who specializes in Infertility. I went to two places first who claimed they did and when I researched on the internet it seemed they weren't paying attention to my cycle. It was a huge difference. This will be my 4th cycle with them.

Re: Acupuncture
From what I've been reading and researching, if you are undergoing IVF, acupuncture could help. It's a stressful procedure with lots of meds and I think that anything that "could" help would be something I would try, especially since the procedures are expensive. I would be willing to go the extra mile to give myself the best shot.
Acupuncture has given me the ability to manage my stress better.

Re: Acupuncture
Plus before/after ET it can help relax your uterus. And also helps your body deal with the meds.

Re: Acupuncture
I am going to James Shinol in Lake Ronkonkoma. He is very nice and accommodating to your schedule. LI Holistic was too far of a drive for me.
