starting stims w/o AF???
Hi ladies. I haven't been on in a while since my cancelled cycled. But I just made myself very nervous.
After my cancelled cycle RE put me on provera. On june 23rd I got AF and saw RE again. He told me to come back in exactly 3 weeks so i can start lupron and the following week i would start stims.
But I'm just thinking that last time I started stims three days after AF. I have PCOS so I know AF won't come again unless I'm on provera. I hope the doctor isn't expecting AF to show and that's why he said I'll start stims when he did.
So my question is, is it possible that I will start stims on the schedule he said? or should i call and remind him that AF won't be coming? O yeah he's also on vacation so when i have my appointment on the 14th it will be with another doctor.

I have PCOS as well. I was just on BCPs for 3 weeks. I was supposed to start stimming tonight but they said not to yet because my estrogen was 'slightly elevated' so I have to go back tomorrow morning for more bloodwork.
AF still hasn't showed so my lining is thick- I was really hoping she'd show up already but no such luck. I don't know what to expect tomorrow if she still hasn't shown. They were going to let me start stimming tonight if my blood results came back ok- but that wasn't the case. Good luck to you!!

Ok so they were going to let you start without AF. My problem is they didn't put me on BCP after last AF. I hope he didn't just "forget" I have PCOS and think AF is coming again naturally.

IMO it can't to put in a phone call if it will make you feel better to check w/ your dr before your appointment (since he won't be there).

Thanks. I'll definately call, although my dr. is gone until the 21st! I'll try to talk to one of the nurses.
