Lake George
The inlaws want to take the whole family on vacation and suggested Lake George. Does anyone have any info on nice places to stay? They'll be 8 adults and 2 kids (ages 8 and 10)

Re: Lake George
I stayed here with DH and 4 other people about 7 years ago or so (wow, can't believe it's been that long). The rentals are really nice and sleep 4-6 so maybe you could rent 2 or something. Obviously, it's been a while since we stayed there but it still seems like a good place.

I think we're checking out all the options, so both would be great. Thanks!

Re: Lake George
I have never rented a cabin in Lake George. We used to rent outside of Lake George in Lake Luzerne.
If you want a hotel I recommend the Fort William Henry and the Sagamore.
They renovated Fort William Henry like 2 years ago and it is really nice. They have a lot for the kids. There are also some chain hotels like the Best Western, Ramada and the Holiday Inn..

Re: Lake George
I've been many times and honestly, for the kids stay at the Six Flags Great Escape Lodge.
The hotel is great and as a guest you get free access to their indoor waterpark for your entire stay. The kids (and you will love it).
