Do you LIKE your job or LOVE your job?

I'm content with the new position i've taken on, but i dont love it. Anyone else in the same boat? How do you cope? I'm so used to really loving my work and looking forward to it...this is just a weird shock to the system. I feel like its just something I do that fills my time and not really getting anything fulfilling from it.

I am in the exact same boat.. I actually just read an article this morning that talks about..if you like ur job but u dont love it, focus on how that job gets you the things you do want.. ie; money to buy things u do like..or travel.. etc..

I am TRYING so hard to focus on that..

I like my job- I can't imagine ever looking forward to working - esp not working for someone else

I don't dread this job- which is a step up for me

I like what I do...But I love my coworkers, which makes me love going to work everyday! And I love my boss and have complete autonomy at my job. And I can basically make my own hours.

I am new to this board and this post caught my eye. I am miserable at my job! My boss is very moody and hot tempered. I am in desperate search of a new job in a different field but am finding the search to be very dicouraging.

I like it on a good day. I agree with the person above who mentioned trying to see the positives work brings you. I only try to stay there each day as long as I possibly have to and try to look at the perks I have there (ie. setting my own schedule, coming and going as I please). I try to go in at 7 most days so I can leave around 3 or 4 and come home and do what I want to do.

I also am focused on the future and changing jobs or even fields eventually. THAT also helps get me through the day.

I love what I do, and who I work with - but I hate the politics that comes along with it. I just try to remind myself that politics exist everywhere, and on bad days I try to think of the other benefits and convince myself they out-weigh the negatives.

I love what I do! I can't imagine being in a job I hated. I think it would affect all other aspects of my life as well...

My coworkers are nice, but we aren't friends outside of the office, which is just fine with me. (not to sound too anti-social! )

i love my job. but i get a feeling that i'm one of a select few who is happy here.

I love what I do.
I like my job, wish some things were better.
I like (most) of my coworkers and love (some) of my coworkers.

I love my company.
I love my boss and the way that I'm treated.

I don't LOVE my job; I do it to pay bills until my ultimate career goal comes to fruition.

i REALLY like my job.

i LOVE that i get to help people.

i HATE some of the people i have to deal with.

i LOVE my bosses.

i HATE the politics of the job.

i would LOVE less paperwork!!

i also really like the money (although more would always be nice )

I used to love my job and actually looked forward to going in. But after our awesome manager left under abrupt circumstances everything changed. We had so many great coworkers leave and we are on our third manager. We don't feel the support anymore and a lot of people are unhappy. I am a nurse.

well I don't hate it, and that's good enough for me I've HATED my previous jobs so I"m content now
