Helpful tip- I found a way to get cheaper baby furniture!!!!

If you or anyone you know belongs to Direct Buy, they have the same crib I was looking for at www.milliondollarbaby.com. They were charging $599 for just the crib, the mattress and conversion kit seperate.

At Diect Buy, the same exact crib WITH the matterss and conversion kit included was $198. I'm having twins so for me I can get 2 of the cribs I want for under $400- It is amzing how much the mark up is.

If no one belongs to Direct Buy, it isn't worth joining just to redo a babies room because it costs a lot of money to be a member, like over $6000. If you are redoing a few room in your house you may want to look into it. they have furniture for wholesale prices. It isn't cheaper furniture either, it is ther same exact name brands that big furniture stores carry. My Aunt joined when she redid her kithchen, she got everthing from the cabinets to the fridge through them and said even with joining she saved over $10,000.

My BFF has a membership to Direct Buy and we saved well over $1500 getting our baby furniture there. We got a furniture set from Stanley/Young America which included the tall dresser, long dresser with changing station, convertible crib with drawer and conversion kit, and nightstand PLUS we also got a Dutailier Glider and Ottoman and with tax and handling it was only $3K. It would've been closer to $5K if we ordered it through Buy Buy Baby. If you know anyone with a membership there I HIGHLY recommend you see if they can help you out.

My SIL has a Direct Buy membership also and their prices are really so much lower than stores. SIL offered to order our furniture but I cannot figure out which crib I want!

My boyfriends parents got a membership when they remodeled their kitchen. You can buy ANYTHING from them! We bought our glider and ottoman (since I found out about the membership AFTER we bought the furniture )
