Dear Bathroom Scale,
I swear you are manic....how is it possible to be 7 lbs heavier than I was 3 days ago??!! I mean it makes me crazy...how can I go up and down 5lbs overnight? Are you trying to put me over the edge! I try not to be obsessive with you... but at this point I am more amazed than anything else. I mean really if this is your way of getting kicks find a new hobby!!!

I know how you feel. I try to weigh myself in the morning after I shower and my hair is dry with no clothes on

This is exactly what I do AND I try and weigh myself only once a week.
If I sneak on anytime before Mon. AM I tell myself it doesnt count..LOL..Only Mondays weigh in counts.
I know it's hard, but, I may even ask DH to hide the scale on me and let me have it for a few mins. on Monday AMs then hide it again. LOL
This way I won't drive myself nuts.

When it gets that bad - I try to put a new battery in it, see if it helps.
If not, when I really get frustrated, I go buy a new one. They usually last for a year before they get too flukey on me.
DH and I were debating getting a real doctors scale; but they're about 250 bucks.
