21 Main in Sayville for Steak
or
H20 for Lobster.
or
Annona for Italian
or
Mirabelle for French
..but since I am not a fancy pants and prefer to wear casual clothes.. I probably would skip the expense and just eat at Collins & Main or Taste in Sayville.

mirabelles (st james)
la plage (wading river?)
My favorite haute cuisine place that doesn't cost a car payment:
kitchen a bistro (BYOB, cash only, fab food, NEED reservations on fri and sat)
honorable mention (new to the scene)
5th season (port jeff)
