implantation cramping or wishful thinking?
Hello! I'm experiencing some atypical cramping - kind of a poking / tugging / needling / intermittently burning type of a cramp in my lower right side. I'm 1 to 2 days late for my period, but had a negative hpt yesterday evening. I am never late - early if anything other than the typical 28 day cycle. I had a very hectic July, full of stress and traveling. I'm wondering if perhaps my ovulation date could have shifted to a later point in my cycle. I always had the impression that stress caused your ovulation date to shift to an earlier point, but now I'm wondering where I got that information.
Can anyone tell me: 1) if this pain sounds like implantation cramping? 2) if stress is known to delay ovulation?
I'm wondering if I could actually be pregnant, just not "as pregnant" as I would be at this time in a more normal month. I'm going to take another hpt on Thursday morning. The wait will be quite an exercise in patience.

I'm not sure, but since AF hasn't shown yet, you still have a shot!

I would try again with FMU. Sometimes holding overnight you have a better chance.

Re: implantation cramping or wishful thinking?
It really could go either way.
Where are you in your cycle now?
Travel and stress can cause delayed ovulation, which would in turn delay AF.
