If you have ever broken a leg?

What is a fool proof way of taking a shower without water getting in? I am trying to find one of those cast protectors but have been to 3 phrmacys and cant find it. We have tried garbage bags and saran wrap and the soft boot that my brother has to wear keeps getitng wet. He has to keep the boot on bc he cant stand up or walk without it

It was a major PITA, but I would wrap saran wrap around it, and tape both ends shut, then wrap a towel around it, tape both ends, re-wrap in saran wrap, and then a plastic garbage bag, all taped.

It worked, but I literally had to add at least 20 minutes to my routine to get it done.

i used the garbage bag thing but always got it wet. I only wore the cast for 3 weeks but it lasted that long.

I like the saran thing but what a PIA!
