medrol question

I was given a prescription for 8 medrol and 9 Doxycycline.
I was told to start taking the doxycycline the night before ER and continue 2x a day after.
I was told to take the medrol 2x a day starting the night of ER.
I am not having my transfer until Monday and will run out of medrol and the doxycycline by tomorrow(sunday) morning. Do you think I need to call the emergency number to get a prescription for more? Or do you think the Dr. would have done that if I needed more. How long did everyone else take these meds?
Of course I think of this when it's the weekend. I don't know if its worth a call to the emergency #.

I don't think you need to be taking the meds the day of transfer.
You could call them and double check, but I would imagine they know you are going to run out of meds tomorrow night.

I would call. I started taking medrol once a day for 7 days and doxy twice a day for 7 days starting on the day of retrieval.

Thanks for your answers. Nurse actually called me today to schedule my transfer for tomorrow and prescribed more meds.
It just annoys me that I had to ask and that they didn't plan correctly.
Anyway almost done I hope - transfer tomorrow. So nervous and excited!!
