Going back to old job
Has anyone ever done this? I started a new job about a week ago and I can't stand it, everything that was promised to me seems to have been forgotten. I left my old job on good terms but my boss was very upset that I was leaving because we got along well. I left because I thought I wanted a change, turns out I miss my work. Should I call him and ask to go back, has anyone done this before?

Re: Going back to old job
I agree. We had a woman here retire and after about 4 months decided she was miserable. She inquired about her old position and was re-hired.

Re: Going back to old job
I agree with everyone else. It is worth a try and if you left on good terms i don't see that there will be a problem. Your boss will probably be happy to see you again. Good luck!!!!

Yes - I totally did this a few years ago - so glad I did - the grass is always greener...
