weird question
Could you be pregnant one day and the next week no longer be pregnant? Would something happen to your body to tell you that you are no longer pregnant? Is there a chance you wouldn't know?

Re: weird question
I wonder this too - it depends how far along you are. It the early weeks you'd miscarry and pass the pregnancy. I am at 16 weeks, and I wonder if I would know if I was no longer preggy - it is all so scary - lately I have been anxious b.c it's been weeks since my last appt and my next sono isn't unti Sept 8th.
How far along are you and what is making you feel this way?

Re: weird question
Well, if you are very early on you could have a chemical pregnancy - meaning there was implantation, and hcg started to be produced leading to a positive pregnancy test. But then for whatever reason, the pregnancy doesn't "stick." This would basically cause a late period. Without taking an HPT a woman with chemical pregnancy wouldn't even know she was pregnant.
If it is a bit later in the pregnancy, there could be a missed miscarriage. This means that the baby stopped growing and developing, but the tissue hasn't passed.
In most cases if something has happened, you willl have a loss of symptoms and bleeding.
I hope this helps.
