Weird question, but I'll ask anyway

Lately red pasta sauce has been making me feel kind of sick. Pizza, eggplant parm, marinara sauce on anything, etc.. I always feel kind of queasy or bloated after eating. Never felt like this before... anyone suddenly not feel well after eating lots of the same food?

I should preface this by saying I have had pizza two times this week and a plate of eggplant parm another night... and I'm not pg.

eta: fixed spelling

I'll be honest. I was going to ask if you were pg.
I LOVE sauce, but, when I was pg, it didn't like me very much.
I was able to handle a slice of pizza here or there and that was it.

Maybe it's just a little of acidy for you right now. I would take a break from it all and try again in a couple of weeks.

maybe its the cheese like beth said. I would try eating it without cheese and see if there is a difference. if not maybe you formed an alergy to it. All of a sudden I formed an allergy to 2 different foods, one was a spice and the other barley. I never had a problem as a kid. I went the an alergy dr and shedid the arm prick test for them and they blew up with in seconds. my barley allergy caused me to throw up

I have been like this for about 2 years - honestly right after I had my DD.

I don't know what it is - I just try and stay away from sauce when I can

This is a really good point bc I have consumed a large amount of cheese this week and never thought twice about it because I eat it all the time but maybe I'm overdoing it... I'm going to start watching what I eat and see if there is a pattern.

Thanks everyone!

Re: Weird question, but I'll ask anyway

I used to eat sauce by the spoon full (I'm Italian) and I used to dip bread in the sauce and just love it.

I can't do that anymore. For the past 2 years it has been making my stomach hurt. I scrape the sauce off my pizza and I put very little sauce on pasta. I love it and miss it. I have no idea what happens to our bodies as we get older (and I'm in my late 20's) I also get heartburn.

Could be acid reflux. Tomatoes could cause a problem with that.

I was thinking preggo too! Couldn't stand tomato sauce my first few months one bit.
